It’s a fact: LGBTQ+ elders face unique, systemic challenges that make life difficult—from housing and financial insecurity to social isolation.

Enter SAGE: a national advocacy and services group dedicated to improving the aging experience for LGBTQ+ community members. Since 1978, SAGE has worked tirelessly for those who “refuse to be invisible,” uniting businesses and advocates nationwide to build welcoming communities, keep these issues in the national conversation, and help ensure a fulfilling future for all LGBTQ+ people.

The challenge.

As more LGBTQ+ people reach retirement age, the social and economic challenges they face take on even more urgent importance. For SAGE, that means it’s more important than ever for their message and services to reach as many people as possible.

From our first marketing engagement to our ongoing strategic partnership, we’ve been proud to partner with SAGE to help spread their message far and wide. The result: a foundation to bring the SAGE message to more and more LGBTQ+ elders nationwide today, and well into the future.

Building awareness through powerful creative campaigns.

Our partnership with SAGE started with a simple goal: to drive awareness and engagement with specific initiatives aimed at solving some fundamental challenges faced by LGBTQ+ elders. In this case, that meant maximizing engagement with their free financial wellness platform, SAGECents.

By creating and promoting engaging & informative creative assets like emails, landing pages, influencer endorsements, and organic posts—paired with community-building referral sweepstakes on social media—we helped generate a significant boost in new account signups and engagement with the tool.

The result: even more visibility of the SAGE mission among those who need it most, and the beginning of a growing partnership between our teams.

We knew that engaging these industry players meant reaching them where they’re looking. That’s why we deployed a dedicated B2B campaign to support SAGE’s National LGBTQ+ Elder Housing Initiative, which partners with builders and developers to help LGBTQ+ elders access to safe, affordable, and affirming housing.

Our campaign centered on engaging these professionals with ad creative, promoted articles, landing pages, and digital guides designed to educate, inspire, and make those industry connections. The result: record-breaking engagement with educational content, and a steady pipeline of much-needed connections.
